Mysore Vinyasa

Sequences of asanas born in Mysore, India.

Ashta means eight, in fact ashtanga yoga is composed of eight limbs. So, ashtanga is not a synonym of asanas, it is the method described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Finally, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is the practice of Ashtanga together with Mysore vinyasa (also called Mysore style).
